Pickled Red Onions




One 1.5 liter jar
6 red onions, sliced thinly in the food processor 
2 cups of apple cider vinegar 
2 cups of water
2 tablespoons of organic cane sugar 
2 tablespoons of himalayan salt
5 cloves of garlic, thinly sliced

Place the onions and garlic in the jar. Layer the garlic slices over the onions (1 layer onions, slice 1 garlic and repeat). Boil the vinegar, salt, sugar, water mixture and pour over the veggies in the jar. Close the lid and refrigerate. It’ll be ready in a day or two.
